FIRST DRAFT
In an attempt to verify that the social public even recognizes art anymore, we must uncover the driving aesthetic or anesthetic that somehow charges our emotions enough to call something art. As I look around my environment, I notice colorful industrial graphic designs that do nothing short of play with one 's primal emotions in an attempt to sell product. Products that we all consume are packaged, covered up and displayed with seducing graphic designs that try to diagram the product. This packaging is a work of art and because it appeals to our senses and makes a visual statement in the same pretense as starry night.
